Apply for one of HPRA’s $2,000 scholarships. Application deadline is Friday, May 7, 2010.
To Qualify, An Applicant Must:
Be enrolled in a four-year university or college by Fall
2010 semester
Attend a four-year university or college in California
Be an incoming junior or senior student of at least 25
percent Hispanic descent
Have a minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA and 3.0 GPA
in their major subject
Be a legal resident
Major in Public Relations, communication studies,
journalism, advertising, and/or marketing
Students majoring in other disciplines who have a desire to
work in the public relations industry also are invited to apply
If selected, recipient must attend the HPRA PRemio Awards dinner in Fall 2010 unless they reside outside of the Southern California area enrolled area
Note: Students who have previously been awarded two scholarships
from HPRA do not qualify for a third award.
